Pain
Share This:

Pain is unpleasant. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) defines pain as a feeling which is triggered in the nervous system. While the NIH claims that pain is helpful in diagnosing a medical problems, most of us want to be pain free. Pain has been both a symptom and an issue for many Second Opinion episodes.  In some of the episodes, pain, such as back pain, was the entire focus of the conversation. Treatment for pain varies, and the Second Opinion patients who discuss pain, talk candidly about their experience with this common, sometime debilitating, condition.
