Francis Antonelli (Frankie) is currently a third year student in the student broadcast journalism class. Producing, editing, writing and hosting segments on the student run broadcasts.  Frankie is training to be a DJ. He has purchased DJ equipment to be a “party starter” and learning how to create his own business and market his DJ skills.  His DJ name is “DJ Frankie-Smooth”

Frankie is also training to be a personal trainer. Working out with a personal trainer for the last three years inspired him to want to teach others how to lift weights and train for a lifetime of fitness.

Frankie has delivered speeches nationally about bullying, showing respect and making good choices.  

Frankie is also a multi-time state champion swimmer in Special Olympics.  Winner of gold medals in 50M Butterfly, 100M free and multiple team relays.  A Gold Medal Winner in Special Olympic Golf.  (Nine holes alternate shot format.) And has played soccer and basketball on Special Olympic Teams for the last ten years.

Frankie's dream came true when Darius Rucker sang with him at the Wando Talent Show his freshman year of high school. The YouTube video went viral.

Frankie will be applying for colleges in the Fall of 2017.
