Royda Crose, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist in private practice and founder of Lifecycle Consultants in Columbia, Missouri.  She is professor emitera of Ball State University in Indiana where she directed the Center for Gerontology and taught in the Department of Counseling Psychology.  She is author of the book, "Why Women Live Longer Than Men...and What Men Can Learn from Them" (1997). She has published numerous articles and book chapters on the topics of Psychology and Aging, Gender Differences in Aging, and Lifespan Wellness.  Dr. Crose graduated from the University of Tulsa with a degree in Elementary Education, then completed a Masters degree in Health Education at Texas Woman's University, and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at Texas A&M University.  Her clinical experience spans more than 30 years of counseling with adults, couples, and families of all ages.
